Join Us For Church Online This Weekend
DUE TO COVID-19 AND THE RECOMMENDATION OF OUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES, WE ARE HAVING CHURCH ONLINE!
JOIN US FOR SERVICE ONLINE SUNDAY AT 9:30AM (ADULTS) & 11:00 AM (KIDS)
Hello, Mountain Movers Church!
We wanted to take a moment to explain how MMC is responding to the COVID 19 pandemic.
First, let us just say that the CHURCH is NOT a building, WE (the people) ARE THE CHURCH. Whether we are on campus or online, we are called to be The Church 7 days a week 24 hours a day. That will never change.
Having said that, in honor of our Presidents’ request to slow the spread, we are going to move our weekend services to online until the end of March. Then we will reassess and let you know our plan from there. This will include postponing our Baptism Sunday which was scheduled for March 29th. A new date has not been determined but will be released once circumstances change and we are able to come together again.
It's not a lack of faith that causes us to make this decision; rather, it is our faith that prompts us to make this decision. Romans 13 instructs us to submit to our authorities; but even more than that, our efforts to stop the viral spread are a basic part of Jesus’ instruction to love your neighbor as yourself.
So, what will this Sunday’s experiences look like? We will be offering 2 life-changing worship experiences on Facebook Live and our online platform– one for adults, and one for Mountain Movers Kids.
The first experience will be much like our normal weekend worship experience at 9:30 am for adults. You can watch live on Facebook or through our online platform.
At 11:00am we encourage you to jump on our FB page and our online platform with your kids as a family. You will get to worship together, learn God’s word, and hear a lesson that the whole family can enjoy and discuss.
Practical Ways You Can Help During this Season:
1. Stay Connected
God created us as relational beings who need one another. The enemy would like nothing more than to isolate you and pick you off. Realize that though you may be at home you can stay connected.
Gather your family and be a part of the interactive Live Online Experiences
Host a watch party for a few friends or family in your home. Have a snack and enjoy the MMC Online Experience together.
Join an Online Life Group and stay connected with others and growing in your relationship with God.
2. Share on Social
Now more than ever we need to spread the hope of Jesus. You can share the link to watch the Live Services before they start (Follow us on the MMC Facebook Page) or hit share during any live event and share it with all your friends.
3. Give Faithfully
When we return our FIRST to God, He promises to meet all our needs and our generosity makes it possible to then share the hope of Jesus in our community and around the world.

The MMC staff are praying for you, your loved ones, and all affected by COVID-19. We want to encourage you with Psalm 94:19, “When I worried about many things, your assuring words soothed my soul.” In this time, we cannot understand these circumstances, but we can trust in the One who gives His comfort and peace. We believe that what the enemy meant for evil, God is turning to good.

COVID-19 Update | March 17, 2019
In light of the recommendations from our National and State officials, we want to make sure we are keeping our communities safe and healthy.
Although these are difficult circumstances, we are excited about the opportunity this situation allows for all churches to mobilize throughout homes around the world.
Our plan is to continue having church online through Watch Parties. We do, however, encourage you to follow the guidelines of the CDC and your local authorities concerning group gatherings. Your Watch Party can include you and your family, close friends, or just yourself.
Our entire Mountain Movers staff is praying for you, your loved ones, and all affected by COVID-19. Here are Some Practical Ways You Can Help:
Pray for our community and those directly affected by COVID-19. Pray for the healthcare workers who are treating the sick and those public health administrators making difficult decisions. Pray that God would protect our community from further spread of the virus.
Reflect Christ. In these anxious days, the church (all of us) can shine as a light of hope, care, faith, patience, and prudence. We can demonstrate to the world how our faith provides true assurance against worry and fear.
Practice recommended personal hygiene. Wash your hands frequently.
Be sure to follow the guidelines of the CDC and your local authorities.
Host a Watch Party with your family, a few close friends, or just yourself.
Give online to those in need.
Follow Mountain Movers (@mountainmoverschurch.grove) on social media for more information and share encouraging words during this time.
If you are in need, please reach out to us at so we can help.
And of course, we hope you'll join us online this weekend!
